Many people neglect warm-ups, considering them a ridiculous pastime, which do not yield positive results. However, warming up before any type of training – is an essential part of a routine, no matter what sport you’re into. Warming up is important because the efficiency of training directly depends on the functional readiness of the body.
Warm-ups are a set of special exercises aimed at the general heating of the body, working up of the muscles, and mobilization of the articular-ligamentous apparatus. We asked Lily Skovorodnikova, the founder of Balletomania to show us a series of simple, but very effective exercises to prepare all muscle groups before training.
